Angular distributions in Monte Carlo event generation of weak single-pion production

چکیده

One of the substantial sources systematic errors in neutrino oscillation experiments that utilize neutrinos from accelerator stems a lack precision modeling single-pion production (SPP). Oscillation analyses rely on Monte Carlo event generators (MC), providing theoretical predictions interactions nuclear targets. Pions produced these processes provide significant fraction signal and background both elementary scattering detector simulation levels. Thus, it is critical importance to develop techniques will allow us accommodate state-of-the-art models describing SPP into MCs. In this work, we investigate various algorithms implement generators. Based comparison studies, propose novel implementation strategy combines satisfactory efficiency with high reproducing details predictions, including pion angular distributions. The proposed model-independent, thereby framework can include any model for SPP. We have tested new algorithm Ghent Low Energy Model implemented NuWro generator.
